We are both born and reased in the Netherlands. After our studies we started working and now, 10+ years later, we felt it was time for a change. A new landscape, a new country, new people and a new home. We have always been fond of the diversity in the French landscape and starting to investagate the possibility of a move. After a couple of months of searching we settled on the Limousin (France). The hilly landscape, the small-scale parcelling of land. Exactly what we were looking for. We found a lovely home with a good piece of land (woodland and meadows). A small but comfortable house and a couple of sheds. The perfect place for our family of three (a picture of our son with a small part of the berry harvest in our Dutch garden is added below), plus the dog and cat. The next few years we are going to transform this place into our own self sufficient home. All with the improvement of biodiversity and soil quality in mind. We are planning to create a food forest, a large vegatable garden and have some small live stock.
Next to that we are taking our business with us. Christiaan had been working with trees for over 10+ years. In which he worked in the largest trees standing in the smallest places (mostly Amsterdam back yards). The last couple of years he has also focussed on landscape managment. Aranea finished her studie garden- and landschape architecture in 2014 and since then worked as green consultant for various municip
alities. On the side she made garden designs.
